Following on from my first set of Anteriors watercolours last year, reflecting my experiences in lockdown and raising money for Downright Excellent, I developed a second set, Anteriors 2, along similar lines. Again based around the format of the cover of World of Interiors magazine these featured isometric exercises, paperwork and a self portrait painted without looking. Happlily, again they sold out within a few days, raising £1600.

Turf Projects in Croydon have asked me to speak about my recent work teaching a course in Covid-safe curating at University of the Creative Arts, Farnham. I'll be discussing the material I brought together to inform the course and the six exhibitions my students put on. The event is free.

For the second UK Lockdown I have started a regular series of 10 minute sessions of Laughter Yoga direct from my studio on Instagram Live. Every Friday at 5pm for the foreseeable future join me for a short introduction and a series of improvised exercises to see you into the weekend.

28th AUGUST 2020 / LAUNCH
As part of the Artist Support Pledge I produced six unique watercolours reflecting my experience as part of a shielding family during Lockdown. Based on the size and layout of World of Interiors magazine each one incorporated different imagery around disconnection, repetition and suburbia. They all sold out on the day of release, raising £1000 for Downright Excellent.

I've been commissioned by Focal Point Gallery to record a YouTube tutorial based on my performance piece 'An Introduction to Laughter Yoga' for their new 'Why Don't You?' series of instructional videos designed for life during the Covid-19 lockdown.

I will be delivering a new version of my performance 'An Introduction to Laughter Yoga' as part of The Holden Gallery's Interruptions programme. These are usually commissioned live events in the empty gallery between exhibitions, but responding to Covid-19 this has been designed especially for Zoom.

solo exhibition, 'Sociable Hermit', presenting all the projects I've developed over the course of my residency with ICIA at the University of Bath, UK. Featuring an outsourced sculpture, a series of mundane photographs, borrowed furniture, a set of prints made on Sir isaac Pitman's original letterpress, a video trailer for a failed project with the Architecture students, and various ephemera from my residency research.

As part of Craig Barnes' Centre for Remote Possibilites currently at Matt's Gallery I am hosting a talk and discussion entitled 'Focus Group for Failure' in the restored Futuro House on the gallery rooftop. The talk will work through the details of an unresolved residency project for 83 imaginary exhibitions that has itself failed to materialise. Friday 12th December, 2-3pm

I have an editioned work, 'Quality Time' (see above), in Enclave's new 'Yearbook' project. 10 artists including Martin Westwood, Toby Huddlestone, Joey Holder and Frances Thorburn produced new works for this limited edition portfolio, the book is then part of a group show in the gallery featuring all contributing artists.
